Dermatoses Induced by Illicit Drugs
Overview
Illicit drugs are readily available and are used relatively commonly. Since illicit substances may adversely affect many organ systems, drug taking causes a range of health problems and physicians in all specialties, including dermatologists, can expect to see patients who use illegal drugs. Damage to health may be caused both directly by the drugs and indirectly by associated drug‐taking behaviours.
